Learning Together: Connecting Researchers Examining Colonial Injustices and Inheritances at their Universities September 12 - 14, University of Victoria
The workshop runs from September 12 to September 14.
In addition to UVic’s territorial acknowledgement —in its brief and extended versions— Colonial Injustices and Current Realities: UVic wishes to acknowledge the Lək̓ʷəŋən and WSÁNEĆ peoples, their communities, their lands and waters as well as their long histories, vibrant presents, and enduring futures in the places they call home. We wish to also acknowledge the relationships that UVic has with Indigenous nations, peoples, lands and waters, throughout Vancouver Island and beyond.
